When I purchased my 2005 545i it already had H&R springs on stock struts. But I think the struts are completely blown now. When I stop short I feel the left front kind of knock and the left front wheel kind of moves. Gonna check it out today to see if anything is actually damaged but I'm leaning towards a blown strut. My question is what is a good strut to replace it with. I was on Jlevi and they sell the Koni yellow sports for 650$ or Koni FSDs for 720$ I think. Let me know if anyone is running struts/springs setups and what's good and what's not good. Thanks.

I've sold a lot of KSport Coilovers on this forum. Price is $925 shipped. You can adjust height and rebound.
If you do a search for KSport you'll find a ton of reviews.

Before you spend the cash on the struts take a look at the front thrust rod bushings . May be leaking causing the noise and the tire to shift .
Much cheaper fix .
