Here's a warning on blowing water out of the cavity of LCI lights... Examine the plastic around the entire area for particulate matter. I used both a can of compressed air and then an air compressor. I was VERY successful at blowing particulate into the eyebrow cavity and haven't been able to remove it. On LCI lights, the whole damn thing appears to be tight compression and glued seals.
As far as moisture/water... I spent an excessive amount of time using jbweld on the cut seam, followed by a smooth generous coating of silicone... WTF, moisture still got in! You have to remember, these are $1000 lights... I'm pretty handy, but not an expert in this area. I'm sure skeeter has got this down to a science. Good luck on whatever you all decide to do.

I got 12 extra LEDs when I did mine. I ordered it from Radio Shack and I couldn't wait. So went to like 7 Radio Shacks to get them. Now I have extra LEDs just sitting there. If anyone wants them, I can ship them. I would have to get 6 extra for a total of 18 just in case any of them are bad. When we did ours, 2 of them were not as bright.
yup. get more LEDs. Radio Shack didnt wanna exchange the bad ones. They didnt even test them and said they are white. I am like, u have superman eyes? Exchange it now.
