Does anyone have a sub in their 5 series?? What kind of sub? Amp?? Does it rattle?? looking for something to get for xmas.
i do . it a 12' MTX sub with a Memphis mono channel amp. its not the high end stuff (~$700 w/o install) but its good enough for me. the trunk rattles alot, so i suggest u Dynamat the trunk and the license plate so it would rattle less and more sound travel to the cabin. but since the e60 back seat are so thick, the full potential of the bass does not travel to the cabin unless u have the fold down seats. i dont . anyways good luck on finding the perfect setup
here is a pic of my sub and amp

I have two kickers CVR 12" subs and one rockford fosgate punch 8002 amp. No much rattling at first but now, the back parcel shelf is kinda rattling a bit. Gotta dynamat it or something. Sound is coming great if you tune it right.

I just put in a Kicker 1500watt amp with 12" SoloBaric Kicker speakers. I cut a hole behind the back seat armrest so the bass could come through. I'm having trouble with vibrations though. I think it is mostly the rear deck panel. I have the automatic shade back there, so maybe that's adding to it. I was wondering if anyone found a way to stop almost all vibration?
