Really sharp. I actually think the 545 with the "M mods" looks better than the stock M5. For some reason, the stock M5 sits really high.
My body shop guys at BMW dealership said the exact same thing. They thought my M mods and 166s looked great and the car sat lower than the M5 and just could not understand why that should be case. Wolverine, your new spring set made things all right, sweet ride you got there

Tires are 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear.
Peter, the car has the regular sport suspension. The wheels seem to fill out the wheel wells more nicely eventhough their diameter is the same as my prior #124 wheels and yes, I added the M-Aero kit about a year after buying the car. I think i'm done changing things now.

Hey I think I have some serious tire issues. I bought a set of Falkens last week. I put my M5 166's on and the rim is protruding beyond the tire sidewall.
I have 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear, just like most post in the forum says. Is it the Falkens? should I get a different type of tire? Looks like you are running 285/30/19 on the rear, do you think that will work for my 530i MY05 Sport package?
here are some pixs.

The M5 does look much higher than the 545i M Tech...or is it just me?

It is, the tires are bigger, I meaured it the otherday in the dealer and it was at least 1/2" + higher , the front wheel arches are wider on an M5 vs the MTech, thus you can put bigger tires on. I just went through this whole exercise because I'm putting 166's on my new car,and you are buying my 172's right
Lomag's dead post coming back to life did some changes lol...see my recent post M166 vs M172 ...
