Looks superb Lomag !!
I see the front offset on the rims is nice and flush with the fenders.
I assume that's because the M5 front fenders are a bit wider?
All you need now is the trunklid finisher

Nice rims Lomag. You can't go wrong with 166s. I too want to go to 19s but don't know what to add (either 166s or bbs RXII).
One question though: why did you go for 285/30 on the back? And if you went for 285 doesn't that mean that the tire wall is increased (compared to 275/30 oem size for 172s)? And if yes doesn't that mean your speedo readings might be affected? I'm just asking since i would want also to get a wider tire (285 seems perfect).
Also i want to ask you if you used any spacers or if spacers are 100% a must for 166 rims.
I don't think it would be much of a difference between your car and mine (considering i have the M pack with m sport suspension). I mean can i opt for the same setup as you did even though it sits a bit lower?

275/35-18: diameter 25.57 inches
275/30-19: diameter 25.49 inches, speedo difference 0.319% too fast
285/30-19: diameter 25.73 inches, speedo difference 0.630% too slow
So the car would acctually be lowered using the 275/30-19's -not- the 285's, very slightly, by 0.04 in. Also in terms of speedo differences, either way you go the difference is minor. I always read that BMW speedo's read 5% too fast, so if the car is reading 0.6% slower on the 285's, then its more accrurate in my mind. Also knowing for sure that the 285's fit (from other members) was enough for me to go with the 285's.
A major issue is economical though. The 285's are nearly $100 more expensive per tire than the 275's in 19" size... it's really not worth it when you look at it financially but they're certaintly nice and you live only once so...
As for spacers, the front rims are pretty flush with the fenders. The rear's are not. I had once said I would put 10mm spacers in the rear however I've since changed my mind, it might rub back there if I do.

OK- It is done and my bank account is busted. Lomag inspired me with the 166s. So after a flurry of reckless spending, this is what I'm waiting for delivery. Within 2 weeks or so my ride will look/sound a tad different with these mods 
1. Dinan free flow exhaust
2. AC Schnitzer rear trunk spoiler and roof spoiler
3. 19" style 166s rims with Michelin PS2
That's it for now

So...(anyone can answer), is there no rubbing with this set up - even with 4 in the car? And one other question, with the 19's is it a fraction of an inch higher off the ground than the 18" 124's? I would actually prefer it a little higher since I'm having minor issues with steeper driveways.
