Hi guys,
I have been offered a brand new set of 19" Style 166 M5 alloys (straight off a new M5). Can anyone tell me if theres any issues in fitting these to a standard E60 M Sport (replacing the 18" 135s with RFTs)?
What tyre sizes can I go for which would give me a simple install?
The alloy wheel sizes apparently are 8.5" on front and 9.5" on rears.
Also, anyone know the best places in UK to source tyres? (goodyear eagle f1s or similar quality).
Thanks!
kman

Should be no problem. Just scroll down the board and you will see a message/thread from me, ryclarks and lomag on 166s for regular e60. There are many 19" non-runflats that you can go with - one favorite is Michelin PS2s. THe tire size on the M5 will not fit the e60 (that's the only difference). standard e60 tire size for 166s is 245/35/19 front or 275/30/19 rear- lomag actually is running 285/30/19 with no reported problem w/rubbing or the speedometer).

and finally, what do you guys do for a spare? i guess full size is no good cos of the different sizes between front/back. do you use a spacesaver or would the mobility kit do the job in a puncture situation?
