They're a great looking wheel and not too bad to clean. I really liked them, just didn't like the fact the rear wheels weren't as wide as my old rear 124's, hence the change. They're even wider on the 3 series which I find a bit weird.

AlanM, those wheels look fantastic! A question for you. Do you have the run-flat tyres? Went to my local parts department to get a price quote (U.S.) and the parts guy mumbled something about the rims being for run flats but that putting the non run flats shouldn't be a problem. I tried to talk to the guy about the 5 series only using the wheel spin to detect a flat and not a real pressure sensor in the wheel. As usual with these guys, he didn't seem to know what he was talking about. The wheels are not cheap, but boy are they good looking. Might have to make the switch if I can go with regular tyres and not the run-flats...

Sadly, yes, they are run flats.

Hi kscarrol I have just ordered a set of 135's for my own 5-series and spoke to BMW U.K. who were keen to push the fitting of Runflats but conceded there would be no problem in fitting a normal tyre to this wheel. Hope this helps

MAK, very helpful! As I suspected, the parts guy didn't know what he was talking about. Thanks again!
