I just purchased a set of the 19" style 128 rims and am wondering if they were ever sold installed on new e60s or if they were always just an optional wheel sold after the fact. I know different regions have different setups as regards to what is sold as the stock wheels.

No the 128s were never sold on the E60. Its an option... Maybe some people have requested to have those wheels installed before they bought the car does that count? If you ment straight from the factory then no.

Those wheels are for the X3 and 7er.

I had to purchase them seperately, and was not a swap. I used the stock for winter rims. Good choice.

Toyo tires..interesting. Are they runflats? any good? When my Dunlops wear out eventually, Im thinking of replacing them with non runflats, either GY Eagles or Michelins PSs.

Nice wheels btw. Do they come standard on any BMW models? I have not seen these in Hong Kong.

In the US the 128 wheel is sold as an accessory item. The picture you have in your quote looks like my car. I got my bmw wheels at bmwwheels.com much cheaper. cas

Oh ya? I thught they were made as in "accessory" for the X3 and E65 only but happened to fit in on the E60... didnt know it had its own E60 specific part number apart from the X3 and E65 related ones...
