Thanks to John(brabus) for his willingness to deliver me a solution for my AE's. He completed a full lighting upgrade, in and out this afternoon after a rough start.
I'm not so sure this is something he'll be up to doing regularly (if ever again), we just happened to have the tools to complete the retofit available to us at my shop. He can explain to inquiring minds what this entailed, certainly the MTEC V2 was not the part for the job specifically, but we managed to keep the headlight housing unscathed and without modification which is the best part.
I now have MTEC V2's winking at the world on a once Halogen equipped LCI 2008 BMW 528i. Some of you've seen these pics a million times, many on your own cars, but this is a pretty big deal for the Halogen folk wanting to dress up their ride.
Without further due(sorry for the Droid pics):

I'm not too familiar with all this but I didn't know you could do LED replacements on the LCI models??? That's why I just upgraded with superwhite H8 bulbs instead
So in my 2010 535 I can use MTECs?

The MTECH V2 LED kit used was for the angel eyes on a Halogen LCI, even though the bulb is custom for PRE-LCI Models( or may have been a E90 bulb?-John will clarify for those interested in partaking .

Lets just say today was a grind...literally..lol
John has a pic that'll speak a thousand words. It'll be best if he could explain it and how it could or could not work on other LCI.

Tetu, are those bulbs brighter than stock angel eyes? Or did you just want a different color? The LCI angel eyes are pretty bright during the day.
