My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.

Which must be why some jerk ripped mine off and took them. The two side grills on the M-sport package front bumber, one day mine are there, the next they are gone.

I didn't hit anything, no scratches, nothing broken - they are just gone!

Like $70 to order both new, but damn, where did they go. Pisses me off.

You know I was in New York City recently with the car, and did leave it parked for hours at a time. Hmmmm I wonder!

Mine got stolen as well a while back, along with the bmw performance kidneys.
A few weeks after that the car got broken into, keep an eye on it.

Ok, where is the story describing the material used in the grilles and what they're worth?

We do have to realize, with the economy in the crapper, petty crimes like these and gas siphoning, etc, will become more common. People mwho don't have a job and can't get one become desperate. Not saying it's right, but it's a fact and we have thousands of young people that have graduated college in the last few years that cannot find work, add to that the former family wage earners that have been looking for 2 years or more for jobs, then the folks nearing retirement age that probably won't find a job anymore.

I think prying out my led sidemarkers on both sides with a screwdriver beats it

Remember, there are still pathetic fools out there who will steal your valve caps off your wheels if they are remotely shiny.

ah yes. I remember parking my car at work right after I had picked it up from the wheel shop with my brand new wheels and rubber. I was looking at the car from my 7th floor office window and along came 4 punks and I knew what was going to happen. They looked at my wheels took the shiny new valve caps and proceeded to install them on there bicycles. I was so pissed knowing that by the time a ran out there that they would be long gone so all I could do was watch from my office window
