Who's got them and what does every one think of them.
Performance wise /noise/dust

cost not to big a deal.
I've had Hawk HPS on my R32 and was very happy, but I'm looking to Upgrade the "U-boot" stopping power since it seems to be lacking that and with the extra weigh over the sedan.

Has any one Auto-xed with either?Any Fade on the HPS/Street Sport?

Michael (acuteperformance) got me to give the Hawk HPS a try, they are great (over 1k miles on em now). Low dust, and the bite is way better than the OEM ones. I have done some spirited driving downhills (some of the SoCal guys know Glendora Canyon) and there was no fade to speak of. They got hot enough for me to smell them, but they didn't lose a lot of bite.

I have the Hawk HPS from Michale of AcutePerformance too. Definitely low dust compared to the OEM's, and stopping power is MUCH improved. I LOVE them, especially at the price I got them for.

Hawk's reputation as a brake pad company far exceeds Stoptech. Stoptech is known for their BBKs. That's my opinion.

Front - $100
Rear - $75

And they come with sensors!

+1 Micheal is the guy to deal with, the hawk pads are great, teamed them with the drilled and slotted rotors he has makes a great upgrade!

I've heard great things about the Hawk HPS but never had them. One down side, is they are not true track pads. I've heard once they hit max temp, they fade quickly. A friend nearly off'd his Evo 8 because of that. He said one turn, they were great, the next, slight fade, the next severe fade.

Well that is probably because HPS stands for High Performance STREET, so using them for hard track days probably isn't the brightest idea. They have more race oriented compounds, but race compound brake pads usually don;t perform as well on the street since they would be unlikely to reach optimal operating temperature.
