Stone chip on CF front lip.

A stone must have flicked up off the highway and chipped my carbon fibre front lip.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can fix this?
At the moment I have a little bit of black tape over it to stop any moisture or dirt getting inside.
Could I put a bit of lacquer on it?
