Ladies, Gentlemen and gals!

Today I made several runs/rollouts with G Tech Pro RR (that device is amazing). As I promised to post them.

I did with Stock vs AFE vs Dual AFE (homemade) vs Dual Stock (homemade). 2 runs each until 3rd gear. Yes, Real runs! on same road only to 1/8 mile and same day (this morning).

The numbers are calculated with the factors becasue Calgary is about 3500 feets where the air density is less (20-23%) than the sea level. the HP is losing about 50-70 hp. The results might be erroneous.

Here are the results:

Stock vs AFE vs Dual AFE vs Dual Stock REAL RUNS!-gg_tech_545i.jpg

The runs are in these order:
First: Dual AFE
Second: Single AFE
then open the hood for cooling (1 hour break)
Third: Stock
Fourth: Dual Stock.

The odd of all is that AFE gains! about 13 hp! Believe it or not....

I believe the Dual Stock can gain more HP if I install straight ducts. Dual Stock and Dual Afe got same 0-60 times: 4.74 s at sea level. .

My Stock gains about 4-5 hp above the Bone Stock... due the K&N Filter? Exhaust?

The Dual Stock gains about 13 hp (DINAN is 18 hp) and the Dual AFE gains about 28 hp. Can't be!!! wow that is pretty interesting.

I wish I had members with me to be witnesses.

My next test will be 1/4 mile runs also I will post the graphs from the device soon!

Be tuned.

Assuming it's accurate, this G-tech device looks like a pretty good investment..

Again, very interesting chart.. Thanks Miguex

Do you mean a ECU remap? I am thinking about putting my AFE back in because I miss the noise and gains at higher rpms, but I don't know if I want to lose my low end torque in the lower rpm range, I also noticed that with the AFE in my car my rpms revs faster and the car is more jumpy. But, my shifts are rougher at lower rpms. Would a remap greatly benefit the intake adjusting the ratio mixture of air to fuel?

ecu remap = tune. with an intake, u will LOSE power without a tune. thats common sense. u r getting more air in but everything stock. it's useless. I plan on doing a ECU remap from upsolute real soon. I'll post a thread on that ASAP. Will contact upsolute for a GB price.

Ok, thanks. If we buy from Upsolute, do we have to send our ecu chips to them, and what is the expected gains in hp?
