I just finished completeing my paddle shift mod, using MY530i's kit. This is a great kit, and the mod is fantastic. It is great to drive - so much more fun!!
Thanks to Fred and all his patience in helping me through this mod. I made some rookie mistakes that he graciously helped me fix, inlcuding rushing me parts through the mail. Pictures are below:

Yes, about 30 to 45 mins is what it took. I didn't double check that all my connectors were connected back up, so the airbag was not connected when I turned the car back on. All and all, it is an easy DIY project.

I have the same wheel that you have but do not have the kit for the paddle shift mod.
1. where can I get it and ship it over to Hong Kong?
2. Is it very easy to install?
3. how much was it for the paddle shift kit?
I need your help many thanks.

Well it's about time to spend some money and get his kits. I just installed his m5 shifter kit for my steptronic tranny. It works great. I already had his m5 paddle shift kit for some time, but the last kit was the finisher for my car. Now I just need get that damn m5 mirrors to work...... I will post some new pictures later. My530i you the man!
