I have a 2004 530i and my steering wheel is pretty weathered, I was wondering what sort of options I have to update my wheel. Can msport steering wheels like this one somehow be made to fit my car? any help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

What kind of steering wheel you currently have? Aside from the cut off build date of pre and post 9/'05 model for proper fitment if you have triangular shape standard steering wheel currently then you'll have to replace the airbag w/ the the round shape sport steering wheel (to fit the kind model on your link) depending where you get the airbag it could be costly like double the cost of the steering wheel itself.

Yeah, I have the triangular one, so If I were to buy that steering wheel I would just need to buy the right air bag and it would work? Also, with that steering wheel would I lose the heating function?

No not really ... your car is pre 9/'05 not sure from what year the steering wheel in your link, if you do an extensive search there's a thread that show the different on the back of a pre & post 9/'06 model steering wheel .... as for heating you have to check w/ the seller to see if it has heating in it.

GL!

Thats the wheel you would want. Seems the seller might know that the wheel is kinda rare. I don't believe they know what years that wheel fits either. I replaced my old one with a sport wheel 3 days ago and the back looked like the first link that was posted not the one in my link.
