Yep, it's definitely you. I have the M version for my M5 and it makes a world of difference. I also have an ECU remap which also has a map for throttle lag, but the SB helps even more. I've pulled my SB on a few trips to the dealer and the difference is night and day. You might want to try it in your car and not judge it based on your friends 530. Just a thought...

i took it off and let my friend try it (E46 330ci) and he absolutely loves it, i think i just convinced him into SB. but after i reinstall it back to my car, i have a engine malfuntion sign on, and after 10 second or so it went away. Does anyone experienc the same situation?
