sprintbooster installed
#1
Just received my sprintbooster today, took me about 5 min to install it. It does pull stronger and accelerate faster, but I still feel the lag when i press the throttle and it actually accelerate. Is this normal? I don't have any error sign and i did clip them.
any sprintbooster pros can solve this for me?
thanks a lot

I don't know if it's the placebo effect or not, but I also felt the lag when I first installed the SB. I did the transmission reset thing and it went away.
Turn your ignition key in the 2nd position (when all lights light up on the dash) and press the accelerator in the floor. Keep it there for 25-35s, take your foot off the gas, take the key out, then you can start the engine.

This is possibly the most hyped up mod. My friend got it for his 530 and I drove it and honestly thought it was the biggest waste of $300 or whatever the price is. I wouldn't pay $20 for this thing....so useless
but maybe its just me

But honestly, when I go to the dealer, I always remove it. On the way there I am always thinking "dude, where's my power?" First thing I do when get home is re-install it!
Maybe your friend is always hard on the gas and therefore doesn't feel the benefits as much.
As for your M5, I imagine that the SB is felt less since the M5 is already very aggressive.
Or does your friend have a manual tranny? My friends 328i is a manual and the difference is less noticeable.

+1 Having an M5 as a daily driver and the comparing it to a 530i with a Sprint Booster, well, the outcome is predictable! As for the OTHER 99.9% of us here, we LOVE it!
