Initially i was all about the sprintbooster but as time passed i realized i severely overpaid for a pointless mod. Yes it does make the car feel like its accelerating faster. But as Noquarter said, if you floor it you will get the same effect. I had no issues with taking my car in for service whatsoever. The problem i am having now though is, with the red feature (extreme throttle response) turned on, i pulled a little too hard on the cable and i think i dislodged a wire in the remote control housing. Now i cannot switch back to the off setting and am stuck in the extreme setting. The only option is to remove the sprint booster from underneath the accelerator pedal. The point is...i didnt even pull on the wire that hard. I wouldnt give it 10 out of 10 on a sturdiness scale. ProMed is right, the green setting is the best setting. The red setting is very jumpy---BUT VERY FUN! i plan on removing it and selling it to whoever will buy it. I know its just a wire that needs to be re-soldered. Has anyone taken theirs apart?

For the time being it is stuck on red but if I push the wire back in the remote control housing I can get it to off or green. Like i said all it's gonna take is some soldering and it will be fine.

Tie a weight on your foot and feel the same effect and save some cash.

My car came with it, makes the throttle more touchy but doesn't actually make the car faster, so I drive with it off all the time.

i have one on my 535i i definitely agree that it increases throttle response and makes you feel faster. but i do believe it helps when you are as one said earlier executive driving. Red = 0 throttle lag it is very cool

OP, what car do you have? Depending on your model, there are other options that could actually ADD power and really make the car faster. (Burger Tuning, ESS Tuning, etc...)

The sprintbooster basically just "floors" the car for you with minimal pedal pressure. IMO I wouldn't spend money on that. I would just press the pedal harder if I want to accelerate or take off faster.

the burger tuning works with my ride its 05 530i but one of the main reasons why i wanted to get this was for my rpm i go up hills and down hillss my rpm goes around 3k
