So, I just bought a sprintbooster off of "Too Solid", as some of you know he is parting out his 535xi. So this is a sprintbooster for an auto that I have installed onto my manual 530i, everything is working as it should and the only way to explain the feeling is that the car feels like it is "awake" now. The car is still very drivable and not jumpy at all as some of the people who bought manual SB have reported. So for those who are wondering yes the automatic SB does work in a manual.

And i just gotta say, i just slapped on my BMC filter today.
It's such an improvement from the stock paper filter that looks like its bought from walmart.
I could feel a slight improvement in performance and the car seem to run a bit smoother. (NOT ANYTHING PSYCHOLOGICAL JUST CUZ I SPENT $$$ =) )

I picked my bmc filter up from trinity.
And if you're hesitating to which one is better, i have dug up some information for you.

BMC filters have more surface area than the K&N filter = More Airflow
BMC filters are widely used by 8 out of 11 F1 teams.

K&N cost only half as much, but you pay what you get i guess.

I did a bunch of searching and there were some old threads talking about Sprintbooster reps telling people that if they thought the manual SB to be too jumpy to get the auto one. So this auto one came up in the classifieds so I thought that I would give it a try first.
