this Sprintbooster will not give you more power in the engine, but it will make you car faster in time wise, every mil sec counts when racing
less delay on throttle, faster on start.

Throttle delay is one thing, the throttle input is another thing. In other words in some kind of perceive, you can say that it affects the throttle travel (not in true form) but it makes it a lot more sensible, case in which i dunno who wants that in true racing, when you need to modulate the throttle the best you can in corners, so that not to loose momentum but not to jump on it that fast to unballance the car. As i see it the sprintbooster brings you closer to the on/off switch. (a bit exaggerated). If this is the case how come you can act faster than one that puts the same input but with slightly more "travel" and feel?! Or in drag race what does it count when both drivers stamp on the gas all the way down!?

Hmmm enlighten me please. How can the throttle delay be improved with that device?!

With SMG for example, with a with a simulted sudden pressure on the pedal I think also the kickdown would be faster with Sprintbooster .

Is this suitable for E60 ?
The site says E39 ...
Otherwise, where can I buy it in EU or US ?
Tnx!

Here is a great example of the Sprintbooster in action. On my way to work today I exit off the main highway onto another road which crosses over the highway. The exit ramp has a short merge into the road/bridge. I need to slow down into 2nd gear as I approach the merge and check the traffic over my left shoulder. If there's enough space, I bury the throttle to merge. Well, this morning 2nd gear planted me in my seat and the rpms went up real fast. What I've noticed since yesterday is that my rpms climb quick compared to pre-Sprintbooster.

Alright bro! Sounds like it's got merit.
Can you point everybody in the right direction to find it? Cost of the part---Cost of install?
Is it worth it on an 08 550i!
BTW.....I was listening to my buddies 07 550i yesterday (exhaust note)and we both agreed mine is noticeably louder and deeper sounding. Very similar to the Remus sound on the BAV Auto site. I see no point in getting another exhaust. It does list on the BMW site that BMW improved the exhaust note. Hmmmmm?
So Cal

So, far IMO, the Sprintbooster is worth it. Seeing as how you recently got a ECU remap done, I'm not sure if the two (ECU remap and Sprintbooster) will play nicely.

VT got the best deal including onsite installation for cheap ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
He did not get the feeling yesterday during test drive because of 170lb-loaded-ass on his car. Today, that load was not there, so acceleration is much better for him

What do you think, Fred? Can the Sprintbooster and a remapped ECU co-exist? Both affect the throttle response.
