You sure you're not getting a percentage of the sale? After all, Sales is your specialty.

Hey Vegas....speaking of sales...is your avatar for sale....

PS - back on topic, thanks to ECF for setting up the group purchase...I did take advantage of the reduced price yesterday!

I have to warn you this is not the case. I actually just had a tune done on my car in order to get my supercharger going properly. They supposedly fixed the throttle lag and remapped the ecu to work with the charger.

Throttle response WAS greatly improved.

BUT today I finally got around to putting the sprint booster on-NO comparison to the tune. The ultimate is the tune adn the sprint booster together. Believe me the response of the pedal is instantaneous compared to simply improved with the tune. Believe me its worth it

rwb - thanks - good to know that I won't have to sell the SB should I end up getting a tune for the 535.

Any downside to the Sprintbooster that you have come across? Perhaps we'll meet at a SoCal BMW event!
dont get me wrong - I am a big fan of the SB and I went along in this forum hype to get one, but one thing i did notice was that:
* fuel consumption is definitely more - afterall the SB does nothing more than take the digital value of the amout of pedal you are pressing, and multiplying it by a constant factor, which in turn increases the sensitivity of the accelerator. This affects people who do a lot of stop-n-go driving - they will notice a big differnce in consumption
* rear tire wear - this is particularly bad for the guys in the UK who often have wet roads and powerful diesel cars. becuase of the increase in sensitivity, your rear tires tend to spin more often (particularly when wet), and the dtc goes on more often. felt that on friday when it was wet... i guess, a bit more tire wear goes hand in hand...

these are my 2 cents to this great fun product...

I'm really interested in SB.
But, does it improve the time from 0-60mph?
I'm driving 525i now and need some more power.
Thanks guys.
Yoko.

Great feedback - but (IMO) those are both acceptable outcomes to a more responsive gas pedal
