Too bad! You should have checked my response first before you bought that SB, because I went from 20 miles a gallon to 19.99 smiles a gallon

Thanks guys. Frank5er, I almost recind my SB purchase cuz of your post...NOT!!! hehehe
I guess the decrease in gas mileage is minimal but I still want to find out Sprint Booster's effect. I think stop-and-go traffic would be worse since there is more chance of revving the engine.
Post your numbers peeps.

After 2 days with SB, my ave. gas mileage is 20.1 mpg as compared to 22-23 mpg before SB, from mixed 50/50 city and highway driving. I'll finish this tank of gas before reporting again.
On the positive note, grin mileage is big every single time I take off. Acceleration is much quicker from a stop. I have to be a little cautious stepping on the pedal, eventhough I'm not the heavy foot kinda guy.

i am still convinced you can get the same effect as an SB by pressing the gas pedal harder. regardless of SB or no SB, if you floor the car you will get the same result, no? isnt the SB a false sense of "quickness" kind of like rewiring your blender so "mix" now works as fast as "blend"

Thanks Craigm1841 for your comment however this thread is not about SB's purpose, functionality or how it works. It's about its effect on gas mileage. There are 1 million other posts for those topics.
I'm skeptical about SB too and that's why I did my research and wanted to find out for myself. Bought it, tried it, and like it so far (2 days only) although it's hurting my gas mileage a little. I'm driving as much normal as I did without the SB.
To indulge you, the effect is the same as stepping on the gas harder...yes that's correct. But the difference is...it takes seconds (or fractions of) less to get to 35mph or 65mph when you are not stepping on it hard = the fun factor. You still get to the speed that you want to travel...just quicker. With the SB, it's true that you're trading some mpg for some smiles and this is what SB is all about. I'm still testing it out and I'll post what I learn about it.

I interjected because you were making it seem as if the SB was making your car faster. it is not. it makes your throttle response quicker, but your car is no more faster because of your SB.
some people like them. to each there own. I am not knocking the SB, just the idea that it makes a car faster.
