Does engine optimization do all the same as a sprint booster? I know only engine optimization brings more torque and power but does it cut also the lag of gas pedal? Price difference is about 400? but that's not an issue.

Is there a reason to use both of these at same time or would it be unnecessary and just lose of money.

I'm having E60 530D.

Thanks

Better spend 10% 40? for SB first, if still feel not good enough, then spend the others.

Anyone.. Does ECU tuning remove the lag of throttle similar as Sprint Booster or just brings more power and torque? Can those two be used simultaneously or is there a down side of that?

Thanks for answers.

I remapped my current 530d and it does nothing to the throttle response, just the engine management. I tried the combination of the remap without the sprint booster and the throttle response was just as bad as pre-remap and without the sprint booster. In other words, you need both!

I have both a remap and the Sprint Booster and you feel the throttle improvement more with the SB.

Thanks for info. Just what I wanted to know. I just ordered SB and we'll see how it changes the car, then remap if still needed. Well there is always need but is there will enough versus money..

Right decision. I found mapping my previous 530i did not improve much, and I traded in for 550i. If I knew Sprintbooster exist then, I might not trade in for 550i. I couldn't imagine how I could drive my BMW without SprintBooster. Way to much throttle lag.
