So just had a loaner 528 today obviously with no SB compared to my 530 with SB recently installed. WOW what a difference in throttle response simply reaffirming what a suberb job the SB does.
I find the most beneft with SB when you are in DS mode v. manual mode. In DS mode with SB the downshifts are very quick and come with a simple tap of the pedal. Without SB in DS the pedal had to be almost floored to get the gears to shift down when accelerating.
I will say the 08s have better throttle response than my 07 had from stock but the comparison is still night and day. 300 bucks well spent
