My Ride: Silver/Grey E60
Guys I installed my SB a few days ago and drove it around for 2 days with no issues.
Well today I go to start up my E60 and there was a grinding sound as if a bad starter or something. The only way I can describe the noise is similar to when you accidently turn the key on a car that is already started and it makes a grinding noise.
I removed the SB and it seems that the sound is not happening anymore. Has anyone ever had a smilar experience? Could the SB effect the start up on the E60? HELP PLEASE!!

UPDATE:
I think i figured out the problem with my 5er after some research on the forums.
Its a cold start issue. I even found the SIB that addresses the problem with the Belt and Tensioner during cold starts. Has anyone else had issues with cold starting such as rough idle or a loud grinding sound in the morning?

My Ride: 2005 bmw 530i titanium silver premium and cold weather packages.... ready to do some minor work and still keep it sexy
i have noticed that lately my car is a little rough when starting... im bringin it to the dealer tuesday and hopefully they will find out whats wrong and fix it since my warranty is over in about 1500 miles
