sprint booster

have new 2009 550i w/every option, incl. sport pack. Thinking about SB for a little more edge. will the throttle be to sensitive (tire spin) at low speed and bad weather, ie. snow & rain, AND any downside anyone can think of?

Once you get used to the added response you'll be fine.

To answer your question, many members with the SB remove it during winter (when it snows)
During rain, the tires will spin if you give it gas regardless if you have the sprint booster or not. My tires would spin out without the SB in the rain because of the shit*y runflats.
The sprint booster is very controllable. Once you get used to how the car has changed, it won't be a problem, even in the rain.
I live in Florida so no snow here. I am sure other members will chime in to cite their opinions about the SB in the snow.
