the wheel gap in front (vertically, distance from wheel to fender) is much less then the wheel gap at the back.is this normal?
a friend of mine told me that the front springs may be worn out.
can it be it or its just how the E60 looks like? i never noticed it till today

Thats and interesting question as I just had my Eibach springs put on about a month ago and I have 3/4" gap in the font and a 1/2" gap in the rears. If you look at the design of the E60 from rear to front, the angle line flows to give the car the apperance of a low slung hood, so Id be interested to see how a stock sport or just plain stock suspension system measures up.
Normally cars are set up with a little bit more gap to the rears, I dont know if thats by design or just becuase the engine sits up front, it will be interesting to see what others post on this topic.
its the "raked" look that european cars have. its normal, your springs arent worn out or anything. that's why some people, mainly members vegastrashed and platinumedition, had aftermarket springs and cut the rear to completely level the car.

ur right, my car is europeen. Another question, can i cut my rear Stock Springs in order to get the looks or does it affect comfort or performance?

Cutting springs is the wrong thing to do. So is heating them, setting them lower, and rapidly cooling them to set them in their new positions. Either way, (from a physics perspective) you are altering the spring constant/rate. And in most cases, you will end up with a spring that oscillates/bounces more than had you left it alone. I've personally seen both effects (cutting / heating) in import cars. The ride is TERRIBLE. Bouncy bouncy bouncy. Not even stock dampers or aftermarket ones cured the problem completely. Overall, this creates an unsafe handling car, especially if you have to perform an emergency maneuver, or of you're flogging your car around the twisties. I'd do the obvious thing and replace the stock springs with a new set AND purchase a quality set of performance dampers to accommodate the new springs. If you're looking for infinite adjustment, then you'll need coilovers.
