1-Remove $205 and add $2TB to VO in both CAS and LMA modules.
(Expert profile F2>E60>F6>F1>F2>E60>OK>Highlight $205 >press del > enter $2TB>F6>F4>cas >F2>FA_Write>F3)repeat in lma
2-Reset kombi and egs modules according to vo in ncs expert.
(Expert profile F1>F3 >E60>F6>F4>egs>F2>sg_codieren>F3) repeat for kombi.
3-The last step is to make sure the EGS module is set correctly for paddles.
Read Trace of egs and set PADDLES=wert_01

Hey fellas, just reading up on this thread. I have a 530d 2008 LCi sport auto with the SAT steering wheel fitted to it. Previous owner wanted paddle shift, purchased the SAT wheel but did not know how to get it working. So I get a free SAT wheel.

Anyways, I know how to code with NCS, WinKFP ect. But unsure where to run the wires from SZL one to ground and one to the box.? Is there a guide for the wiring anywhere? Also can this be done without the SAT gear lever?

If your car came with SAT sports auto from factory it comes with paddles as standard so should work. If it's been retro-fitted like you said then yes you need the two wires connected.

The guide you want is on page 80 of this thread.

Check wiring connector on the shifter ECU. Even without coding/programming you shouldn't get any errors, the ECU maybe faulty.

I ran mine with just the shifter and ECU installed for about 8 months before I fitted the wheel and coded it. Never any faults.Leew88 may be right.
