part number 9159751 is the only one known to me with SMD.

2TB has nothing to do with software update.

winkfp is used for update. in this case expert mode must be used otherwise it won't accept GWSS60 software.

Hey guys I'm almost complete running final wire to ebox. Trying to find a hole or small passage is a pain in the ass. however , can someone provide the step by step instructions on how to code paddles to egs so that I can have this completed ASAP. Thanks Gus for your help.
oh the part number for connectors to plug into szl is 61131393704
I tried fitting the same part on the connector in ebox but it did not Fit which means I'm gonna have to solder it.

Fitted my steering wheel and ran the cable today but did no coding at all. Already got shifter and ecu in.
Should the paddles work now?
I used removable wiring connectors to join the cables under the dash and I'm wondering if they are transfering the signal correctly but if nothing should happen yet then that little worry can wait until I do some coding.

Put the last seven characters of your VIN in here

BMW Baureihenarchiv · BMW Vehicle Identification Number Decoder · bmwarchiv.de

And see what options were fitted from new..

Paddles will not work until you code wert_01 using bmw coding tool and NCSEXPERT.
