Hello All,

I have an 05' 545 with sport and I wanted to lower the car a little bit and was wondering which springs to go with to still maintain a decent ride and drop. I have tried the search option but everyone is lowering with eibach/HR sports on non sport suspension which looks like my ride height stock. So I didnt know if lowering with H&R sport springs will be almost identical to the stock sport springs what I have right now? Any suggestions I thank you in advance!

Either the H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-kit springs would lower about another 1/2" below the factory sport package height.

I have a 04 545i with sport and I have the H&R Sport springs, but NOT installed yet. I'll let you know how it rides with the springs in it within a week.

eibach is said to give the closest ride to stock.

sport package is lower than standard by 0.7". with H&R sports on a standard 545, the drop is 1.3" front and 1.2" rear. from sport, since you are .7" lower already, your car will drop an additional 0.6" in the front and 0.5" in the rear. with eibachs that give 1.2" drop all around, you would drop 0.5" all around since you have sport package.

Do you really think it's worth it performance/handling wise to drop it further than an 08 Sport with M-Tech already is?

Thanks.

Not to mention for the "looks" as well!

I've also got a set of H&R Sports to be installed in early January. I'll give my opinion once they're in!

there is nothing to think about. Just do it. Ride quality is same as stock but better with handling. And yes it looks good too.
