Sport button on the steering

Hi guys!
I would need the Sport button on the steering, because I activate and deactivate it very often .
Is it possible, in your opinion ?
Fred, what you think about this (simple, I think) mod ?
I don't use the Phone botton, for example ... It could be replaced by the M button of the M5 .
Is it doable ?

Because I don't have SMG, so I don't have anything to work on. 
Sorry.
The theory is connecting pin 2 and pin 3 of Sport button to activate Sport function. Other pins 1, 4 and 5 are for LED lights.
In addition, Sport button is too big to fit to steering wheel.
