I just did other mod on the car.
My old OEM Brake Disk where getting low so I change them to a Zimmermann Sport Brake Disk with holes.
these disk are the same size as the OEM so no need to mod the brakes.
Just plug & play.
They are cheeper than BMW OEM disk too.

Zimmermann makes good products and theirs and ATE / Balo manufacture both slotted and drilled brake rotors that are popular brake replacement parts or performance "upgrades". That said, original BMW brake pads and rotors are generally considered excellent for normal and spirited drivers.

Curious, did you replace your brake pads at the same time? Update us on any changes in brake noise, pad wear, and dust as you bed them in.

Those rotors are dwarfed by your wheels. I never knew the stock 525 rotors were that small.

Good Mod

I change my pads a year ago to EBC green stuff so there is no noise at all.
green stuff are very good pads
