I went with OEM style trunk spoiler
and with the $ I've saved, bought a CF roofspoiler, it matches my pillars and emblem.

Really? Let it sit for 24hours with some weight first and then see how it holds.

I've tried that method and that didnt hold, thats why i lost my spoiler. I wouldnt try risking it, just glue it to be on the safe side.

did you get the extra strength 3m industrial tape? i have 3m tape holding my trunk spoiler and it has held up in 100+ degree heat, 120 mph, washing, and whatever else driving it daily has put it through. you might want to try it again with the 3m tape. sand the bottom lightly and clean the surface is spoiler is being put on.

other than that i like both spoilers. i like the cf with the tinted windows. looks good!

+1000 I went with Silicone and double sided tape when I did mine. Follow the DIY's and you should be fine.
