Splitter for m-tech...opinions please!
My M5type bumper was cracked after hitting a piece of tire on a dark road, so I decided to have a legit BMW M-tech bumper put on in it's place. But now I'm missing that slightly more aggressive look that the M5type bumper had. I'm thinking some splitters may help.
Anyone have experience with these splitters and what the quality might be? MY car is also white and I'm thinking of painting the CF part white as well...

My Ride: 09 550i 6sp M-Tech. 18mm spacers rear, 8mm front. Dinan intake and Stage 2 tune. Tinted tails, M5 OEM lip spoiler.
08 Z4 3.0si Black on Black with Beige top. Removable hardtop. (Hers)
06 Volvo S60R Heavily Modded!! Gone and missed.
I'd worry about hidden costs on the ebay item. Customs duties are an unknown.

Thanks for the info. Just looked into the actual 3D design splitter and wow, the legit ones are over $1,000. That's pretty steep.
I'll look around and see what I can find.
If anyone knows of a good source for the replicas or has ordered some themselves, let me know!

AFAIK no, these splitters were made to fit oem mtech bumpers, the rep mtech bumpers are slightly different...at least thats the case for the m5 rep bumpers, might be wrong regarding rep m tech bumpers...

originally i heard they were slightly different too, but i know of at least 2 people with the Umnitza mtech bumper that put on rep hamann lips from ebay with no issues.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.
I love these splitters!!! I have the umnitza M5Tech and ordered M5 splitters from eBay. They looked really nice until I went to install them and realized they did not fit, not even close, not even the most modding guy could have made them fit. I was really heart broken. Lucky for me the seller took them back and I was only out of the shipping. IF ANYONE COMES ACROSS A SET FOR TGE UMNITZA M5TECH PLEASE LE E KNOW.
