Finally! I got round to installing a PS2 into the rear armrest of my car. To say that it was a tight squeeze is an understatement.... There's a welded metal frame within the armrest itself and I was trying to find a way to disassemble the hwole thing without breaking anything. In the end, I found that I had to break the plastic lugs off one part which I then ordered spares of. The part in question was about 5 pounds, so no big deal....

Anyway, below are some pictures of the armrest alone and out of the car. I'll post pics of it in place and connected on Thursday/Friday when I get back to the UK. The Green and Yellow buttons are used for zone source switching in the rear of the car. Controllers used are Logitech Wireless. The AV output from the PS2 goes to my Clarion Zone Selector in the trunk. The PS2 PSU is located in the trunk right area and it is in turn connected to a 12V-110V inverter that is powered off a T30 supply from the trunk lighter socket. Due to the big power consumption of the inverter and PS2 PSU, the PS2 only functions from ignition key switch position 2.

I think I had the same puzzled look when I took a look at your car the last time.

Her name is Smartie. She has a sister called Wiggle. We got them from a dog and cat rescue place in London almost 4 years ago. They had a terrible start in life cos they were beaten around by someone's hands and arms, and as a result, they are very wary of people's fingers and hands. Smartie loves exploring 'new' things and she constantly 'helps' me at the car etc.. I have a fuzzy picture of her pawing at my steering wheel as if she wants to drive. Funny...

Kind words... thanks. Who plays it...? Errr... I do, my staff, selected passengers... and forum members at the next European meet!!!! Frankfurt/Nurburgring.... It would be kinda fun if someone were playing GT4 Ring circuit in an M5 whilst my car was going round it for real....

Might have to ask SG535 to help me out there in September...
