True, I actually didn't even realize that I had put headlights in the title as well. I guess my fingers were just typing and I pressed post before noticing it. However, some cars can pull of the tinted headlight look, but it's not easy that's for sure.

How easy or difficult would it be to do just the red part on the taillight?

And would it stick out (on top) too much and make it look weird?

The owner of that car was actually discussing it with me beforehand, and I was able to convince him to just give it a chance, and see how it turns out with the entire tail light covered. It ended up looking a lot better than if the clear part had been left uncovered.

Well, reason I asked is because I believe I have seen pics of just the red parts done, and thought that looked great.

And personally, I have seen E60s with tails entirely smoked, and I wasn't a big fan, just because of the contrast of the white and red. That's why I am asking, I don't believe I would do the whole thing at all, lol. Cannot be convinced!

If you really wanted to just tint the red part, we could work out something with you. If it isn't too hard to do, I won't charge much more than what the template/piece that we already have and use.

i would also like to know if only the red portion can be tinted. also, the pictures you posted, what shade of tint is that light, med, dark, or what percentage is it?
