Trying to get some opinions on this. (I know the pictures are re-used from my carbon fiber roof thread, but they work both ways in this case).
I hadn't offered it before, but the 1 series owner who came over to get his roof done asked if I could smoke/tint his tail lights. I decided to give it a shot, and it came out surprisingly well. I am trying to see if there would be any interest in this over here.
Material is similar/same thing as lamin-x, with my own little flare to it. Some lamin-x pieces end slightly shorter than the actual tail light, leaving exposed areas around its edges. I have mine slightly oversized (~2mm), just enough to be able to wrap around the edges. This gives it a cleaner/complete look, and helps prevents dirt/etc from building up on the direct edges of the tail light.
Opinions?

Both...Some members tint them with actual tint like in window tint, some use the spray tint...I want mine tinted with regular tint so it can be easily removed if cops give me a hard time here in VA...

I would be interested in doing this.
Would you be able to precut the pieces and sell them?

Any local members interested in getting this done for some pictures? Free installation with purchase of the film

wow! where you located??? how much?
Same thing as laminx (material is actually from them), but cut to my specs and installed on your car for cheaper, if you're willing to be the first.
Shoot me a PM.

Yea.
The roof + tail lights completely changed the look of his car. I wasn't too sure of how the tail lights were going to look that darkly tinted, but it turned out awesome.
