Does anyone know where to purchase a smoked tail light film kit for a 2008 5-Series? Not the entire tail light replacement, just a film kit? Does anyone produce them? Thanks in advance.

Nope, they just make the film for the clear part, like I did to my tails. Check out my gallery to see. The red part is too hard due to the bump on the corner.

Probably not a precut kit... but you can buy a roll and cut it yourself... its easy to install. I bought a small roll of red film for my IS to cover the stupid amber blinker.

Just get a large roll and use paper to trace out the rear lense shape and cut it. Then re-measure and trim against your rear light before removing the adhesive backing to apply to the lense. With soap water you can slide it around to fit it exactlly on the lense... its really not that hard... I got a 10% off coupon code... PM me if you want it. Here are some pics of what i did with the red film... after 1.5 years not 1 sign of peeling or fading... looks just as good as the day I installed it.
