First year is FREE!!!
No activation fee, no nothing, I just called up the night I got my car, (after trying to activate online and pay) and they said.. "oh, thats a BMW, its paid the first year, hold on while I activate your ESN"
3 min later, I was enjoying digital music!
After one year is up, you can buy: 1 year sub for $9.99 per month (~$120), or go month to month for $12.95 or something close to that....

mine's going in on the 20th. $400 for the parts and tax + 1.5 hrs labor. They tell me that it'll take 1 - 2 days to update the software after the installation - go figure - maybe they're doing a full update. So, all in, about $600 - 650.

Sticker for Sirius was $595, including one year programming subscription.
Renewal pricing can be found here: http://sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pa...d=1019257316818
I find that I have virtually quit using my CD Player.
(..Now if someone could help me figure out how to extract my license plates out of the Oregon DMV
)

Faisal, your car description doesn't mention it, but I assume you know of the conflict between Sirius and NAV. Still can't have the Sirius w/ Navigation, waiting on some software update (someday!) that is supposed to fix the conflict. I was quoted the $595 installed price from my dealer.

Does anyone have an update to the conflict fix for those of us with NAV which will allow us to get Sirius? I had heard Sept, then Oct. Do 2005's with NAV have the problem?

Can't we just wire it into the radio antenna on NAV equipped cars?
I have an XM radio in my other car. Cost me $150, took 1h to install. Hooks right into the radio antenna cable and you tune to a radio station.
The sound quality is great. I think this certainly beats waiting and/or paying $500.
Once you have an XM radio you can trash your CDs - I have not even touched the CD button in my other car since I got XM radio.
