Mounted my new Winter Tire/Wheel package today. I measured for myself the circumfrence of the stock Dunlop RFT 245 40 18 and my new Winter setup Continental Non RFT TS810 - 225 50 17. Both the 18" and the 17" have a nearly identical circumference at 80" +/-.

Why wouldn't they? Did you expect different? Nice title, BTW.

theXman's question was " you point it?" was very incitful. Thanks to members such as MrFVA, who just posted a link to a site where one can input various tire and wheel sizes and obtain comparisons, for the helpful references. In my case, I was never provided any difinitive documentation that the set I was purchasing was equivalent to my factory set. I was only told it was not going to be a problem. Thus, I was able to confirm, for myself, that the new set was nearly identical to the factory set. Although there are few who know as much as theXman, on this site, I was trying to be helpful to members in providing confirmation of the equivalency.

Sorry theXman. I will never do that again. I'll be much better at never posting unless I have a very powerful point to make. Hehehe.
