Silverstars are notorious for having a poor life span. I'd go PIAA if I were you.

thats enough info for me to go with PIAA

Honestly man, I did HOEN xenonmatch bulbs. I was on the verge of going with the PIAA's, but Dave (President of AngeliBright/CustomAngelEyes) told me the HOEN's are a better match and are half the price as PIAA's. Many of his customers use HOEN over PIAA. I paid $29.95, did the install per the instructions on the forum and they look GREAT! I just need those darn new AngeliBrights to complete the look...

I second that^ just installed mine today in 15 minutes. The match is really close. and for $38 shipped came in 2 days.

I just bought two pairs of Hoen Xenonmatch Titanium bulbs for my wife's MDX (standard halogen, no HIDs). They're rated at 4300K compared to the other xenonmatch bulbs they offer which are at 4000K so the Titanium bulbs should be a bit more white/blue. I'll let you guys know how they look.

I'm interested to know. HOEN sent me an email saying I wanted the 9006 xenonmatch, so I went with what they said. Hmmm...I wonder how the titanium bulbs will look.

ECF - What did you pay for those?

EuroCarFan 01-23-2007 10:31 AM

The Titanium bulbs are $49 a set before shipping.

Hmmm...maybe I should have tried those. But the one's I have are pretty good already. Pretty close match.

Hey did you guys order the H7s?

Also, when the fogs are changed to match the regular xenons, they're all bright white, but then there's the rings which are still stock ambery. Do you guys just leave it alone or changed that too?
