So does the standard side skirt come off before putting the M-tech on?

yes, you take those off and the mtech mounts the same way the oem ones do. its simple.

Yeah, but keep in mind that the replicas will be just a tad bit shorter....in my case I'll say 1/8 of an inch. I bought my side skirts from Umnitza, but I've seen pics of other replica vendors and all of them seem to be slightly short for some reason. Is it a big deal? No. I'm a detail freak and this doesn't bother me for some reason, but it's there.
