I'm working with one of my vendors and I'll have it within 1 month. I will let everyone know how the fitment is.

I forgot to mention but I bet this thing would require a lot of time to install considering you'd have to dismantle the whole trunk mechanism, take out the 1st aid kit, all those screws, the trunk cord release, etc. I bet it costs a ton to install. Who knows.

If you are handy you can probably do it yourself.....

Just looking at the advert for the bonnet/hood and noticed it has fastening pins... it maybe my ingnorance, but I would have hoped the bonnets and boots/trunks would be a direct replacement rather than having racing style fitment e.g. bonnet catch & springs etc are all direct swap.

I am seriously considering bonnet/boot replacement to reduce weight (yes I live in a dream world where I believe the weight saving would make a difference ), but I wouldn't want to degrade the 'standard' car e.g. the 'performance modifications' I make would not be that noticable.

I'm sure they bolt on without pins.

I'm not sure how that aggressive arch would look on an E60 considering it has such distinctive sharp curves and lines. Its pretty dumb that they market this product with ZERO photos of it on the actual car.
Looks similar to the Ericsson M5 trunk. There are pictures of the Ericsson M5 with the same or similar trunk. Again I can't post a link (phantom mark) im on my mobile phone at work. Google "Ericsson M5" if that dont work, google Ericsson M3 and find out the link to the Ericsson M5

It is kind of cool. I would probably be able to buy it if I sell my vorsteiner and my trunk finisher and trunk. But i would want to paint the trunk a bit. It would be cool if you leave a section CF and the rest painted like the color of your car. Now that's hot.

I think the new m3's have a trunk like that.
