Because too much CF looks ricer and makes a classy, expensive car, look cheap, (even though Cf is expensive!)
Best thing would be to paint it but leave the top of the ducktail CF. Seen it on plenty of E46s and looks sweet.

EDIT. Just saw the rest of the thread. Too slow am I...lol

built in trunk finisher too, b*ll*cks I just bought one of those..

The only problem is the boot comes to ?440 and postage is an extra ?330... ?770 doesn't make it so appealing... unless it saved so much weight from the standard boot and gave us a theoretical 20hp more!!

ebay linky

edit: oh no, just looked at his other items and he has a CF bonnet and wait for it... CF M5 front wings
Seibon are normally pretty good finish and fit. A friend of mine might be able to get a discount from the UK importer if you really are interested.

Yes im still interested as well, just trying to find postage sollutions to reduce the outlay a little.

FWIW the seller in the Ebay clicky offered to sell to me direct saving some 60 pounds on ebay/pay pal costs, im nervous to send so much money so far with no protection however so have not gone for it.

I emailed also for the OEM bonnet , the M5 wings without the vents (I want the flared arch only) and the CSL boot.

He gave me a price of around ?1400... which is great, but then shipping and collection on top. If I could get that price in the UK then I think I would bite the bullet and purchase (trying to ignore we are in a credit crunch )

Can the UK importer come up with prices as there should be some interest in the UK I reckon...?

EU guys, we can have a good deal (dispatch excluding) if we order it from the seller that RajB has mentioned. I'm going to buy it from them this week. I'm just trying to find out if I'll be able to use the stock inner panel (cover with toolcase) without problems..
