I just had installed the Rogue OCTANE SSK with weighted shift rod and a Zeckhausen clutch delay valve... Wish I did this when I bought the car 2+ years ago. Much shorter throws, very nicely weighted feel and you can feel the gates great but without any stickiness- and no more soft clutch. Well worth the $$$.

You guys out there raving about this were right!

Glad to hear your feedback on this mod! I've got both items on my to do list. How much was the install for both?

2 hours labor (plus a tip because I like this guy). Everything (parts and labor) full up for the mods was just under $500. But I feel it every single time I clutch/shift so well worth it to me.

Now for a true LSD rear end... Did you see that M5 take-off diff o eBay for $100.... Dream...

Not too bad at all. Now (I haven't searched the forum yet) will the M5 take-off diff work on a 545i/550i?

Nope! :( I believe Quaife Limited Slip Differential is our only option. Member Alexfw has this LSD.
