Yah I did look at the DIY for shadowline trim.
It looks simple but im worried that i'll strach something. Hopefully they dont charge me more than 200 to install it.

I haven't heard of anyone having it swapped at the dealer. It'll be interesting to know what they charge.
The process isn't that difficult, but you need to go slow and an extra set of hands is recommended. If you don't try to save the original chrome pieces...it'll go a lot quicker.

I plan to drive by the dealer and ask my service guy what he would charge for it. I would call on the phone but sometimes they have to actually see what you're talking about to understand.
I'll just make the service guy call over a tech and ask him. WAIT... the tech might say "oh yah 7 hours" and make a killing off of ME!

My dealer wanted 5 hours labor to install the ShadowLine Trim ! (...according to some bmw labor rate book thing.)
Do it yourself....approx 2 hours with a short beer break.

Maybe I will just do it on my own. Anyone in the San Diego area with experience feel free to help me out!

So from what I gather from searching on the fourm.. Garry would be like $208.00 shipped.
Any of the vendors on here please feel free to PM me with thier price. I think I saw EuroRev sells shadowline.
Thanks vendor guys!
