My Ride: Stock 2004 530i with most options. 18" M5 look alike wheels Bought August 2008 with 34k on it.
2006 Range Rover Sport with K&N filter and Borla cat back exhaust.
Maybe a Defender soon or an old M3 to play with, although the wife has other ideas!
Ok Guys-
I ordered the blacked out trim and it should be arriving soon. Paid 218.00 from my local BMW dealer who also extends a 20percent discount for CCA members. My question is are there things I need to be aware of as i do the install? Any special tricks or potential issues? Those who have done this mod, please pass along you wisdom.

Hello -
I just did the ShadowLine Trim Mod. Ordered the parts from Gary @ BMW Newport and installed myself using the above linked instructions as a guide. Completed the swap in about an hour and 1/2 with a couple of beer breaks during.
ps. The dealership wanted 5 hours labor to install...I guess they take more beer breaks.
Next mods - black kidney grills and M trunklid finisher
