Hey guys, I am pretty much done modding the e60 and want a nice 2 seater for the summer to tune up.... What do you prefer: a 350Z or a Z4 roadster?
I love the convertible but a 350Z is a damn great car for the weekend!
So what´s it gonna be?

how about something old? like from the late 80s or up to the mid-90s?

otherwise, from the options you listed i would vote for the 350z prolly a TON of tuner things available for that car in comparison to the Z4

between those 2, i'd choose the 350Z. and i agree that an S2000 would also be a great project car!

E46 M3 or better yet an E92/E93 M3

but... from what is listed above I would go with 350Z based on tuning.

If it's just between the Z4 or 350Z....

From what I've read.. there's a larger market for tuning the 350Z. So if you want engine mods, that may be your route to go.

However... It is my opinion that the E89 Z4 is a thousand more beautiful of a machine than the 350Z

Which Z4 are we talking about? Latest shape S? Definitely better than the 350Z. Actually, I probably would choose the Z4 over the 350Z no matter what, because it is just a more grown up car and much more refined. The 350 has lots of power and might be the better choice is you're a speed junkie (though, again, I think Z4 is still a better choice, personally).
