Can anybody tell me how to change the battery on a 2007 key fob without going through BMW

On the back side there is a cover that you pop off and the battery is in there, Pull the key out of the fob and you can see the notch where you pop it out.

The sealed keyfob recharges as you drive, what makes you think you need to replace battery?
(To answer you question you can't without some serious effort and soldering skills)

The key fob does recharge after a journey but 3 or 4 times later stops working again. just dosn't hold the charge long enough.
My soldering skills are not that bad either.
