Seafoam

So I just got a seafoam treatment on my car, both in the gas tank as well as into the engine but had it done so no clue how to instruct on the engine one. It is via vacuum line or pcv I was told.
Just had this done and continue to notice the car just running smoother and smoother with better gas mileage, faster performance and more crisp acceleration.
I had numerous things done this past 2 weeks. Started with a bottle of Techron in the fuel, followed by dealer fuel system flush/service, had oil change (every 5k), followed by seafoam in the tank and in the engine. And finally cleaned the MAF really well with the crc cleaner.
Even after 37k miles, I can tell you this is a different car and runs like new again. All shakes and idle vibrations, hesitations, engine sounds any loss of linear perfect acceleration is all gone.
I definetly recomend doing this entire service once your car hits 30k. I wish I had done it sooner for more prevention but am now going to change oil every 5k, clean maf each time I do the oil, use techron in the fuel every 5k, followed by seafoam in the next tank after that. Every second time, each 10k I will also include seafoam into the engine.
This stuff pretty much eliminates all carbon in the engine, cats, exhaust and will make your engine last MUCH longer. Does a lot more for the engine than any break in period or other maintence the dealer ever does.
All they ever do at the 30k service is dump one bottle of bmw fuel cleaner (aka techron) in the gas tank.

I did a couple of searches on Seafoam... Seems interesting enough, anyone on here tried it with a newer car?

Thanks for sharing your experience. How dod you run seafoam in your intake system? I am curious and would like to do that.

I run Seafoam in the outboard motor on my boat on a regular basis and it definitely helps keep carbon deposits to a minimum as opposed to not using it. The injectors were also kept cleaner. I never thought of using it on the 5 but may start.

I used Seafoam this past weekend in my M5 and the car sounds much smoother.
